Healing · Guidance · Restoration
A place to begin again — for those who are hurting, lost, ashamed, or simply searching.
"God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble."
— Psalm 46:1
The Psalms were written by people in real pain.
God met every single one of them.
He will meet you too.
What Refuge 27 Is
Refuge 27 is a ministry for people who are hurting, lost, ashamed, or searching. It's not about performance, rules, or having everything figured out. It's about encountering a God who sees you — and wants to restore you.
"The very thing you survived may be the thing that saves someone else."
— Keri Galler, FounderWhatever you are carrying — pain, shame, doubt, anger — it is allowed in here. You don't have to clean yourself up first.
He meets you in it. He sat in the darkest psalms with David, and He will sit with you too.
You may need to surrender the same thing more than once. That is not failure. That is how it works.
Once healing begins, it isn't just for you. Your pain has a purpose. Your story has power.
God is not intimidated by your past. He is not shocked by your struggles. He is not tired of you coming back.
Nothing you've done — and nothing that's been done to you — removes your value in the eyes of God.
Where sin increased, grace increased all the more. The door is open. It has never been closed.
Even in silence, even in emptiness — God has not moved. He is doing His deepest work in the quietest seasons.
The Book
Written from the lowest point of her own life, Keri Galler's Refuge 27 is a guide to hope, healing, and a relationship with God — for those who are hurting, lost, or searching. It meets you exactly where you are.
About the Founder
"I turned to God not because I had faith figured out — but because there was no one else. And He was there."
Keri Galler did not come to this ministry from a place of having it all together. She came from the lowest point of her life — carrying shame she thought disqualified her from ever being truly loved, walking through personal pain that left marks she didn't think would ever heal, and sitting in the darkness of mental health struggles that made getting through a single day feel impossible.
There was a moment where every human voice around her pointed in a direction that didn't feel like life. So she turned to God. Desperate, raw, and completely unpolished.
Refuge 27 was not written from the outside looking in. It was written from the place where she once sat, wondering if anyone or anything could hold what she was carrying. He could. He did. He still does.
If you are in that place right now — out of options, out of people, out of strength — then you are exactly who this was written for.
What God Says About You
God does not accuse you — He invites you. Not when you have it all together. Not when you've fixed everything. Right now, as you are.
There is no sin too deep. No mistake too great. No life too broken. Where sin increased, grace increased all the more.
Jesus considered you worth it. That is the truth that changes everything. That is the foundation of Refuge 27.
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."
— Psalm 34:18Start Your Journey
You don't need a perfect moment. You don't need perfect words. If something is stirring in you — that is enough. This is where it starts.
A Simple Prayer
God,
I come to You as I am.
I believe You are real.
I believe Jesus came for me.
I'm asking You to come into my life —
heal me, guide me, and change me.
I give You my past, my pain, and my future.
Teach me how to walk with You.
Amen.
Continue Walking
Start with Psalm 23, 34, or 46. These are the prayers of real people in real pain — and you will find yourself in them.
Prayer is just talking to God. You cannot do it wrong. Messy, honest prayers may be the most powerful of all.
The refuge you've found — someone else is still looking for it. Consider passing this along to someone who needs it.
